Your iPhone Can Now Be Solar Charged

Is Apple finally ready to let us have official solar powered iPhones?

Looks like the answer is yes.

A company named Novothink has been producing a gadget called the Solar Surge, a case for the iPhone and iPod Touch that allows it to charge with a built in solar panel.

Up until now the solar power hookup for the iPhone was not an approved product.

But now apparently Apple is getting ready to give it their official seal of approval.

The iPod Touch case sells for $70 and the iPhone version costs $80, but you can find some sales if you hunt a little.
